Radio Frequency IDentification, or RFID, is a low-cost, practical way to identify and keep track of almost anything – from wildlife to goods in a warehouse. The technology centers on electronic “tags” which store data and respond to a radio frequency reader device. The reader’s signal instantly triggers the tag, which transmits its data.
